Gangaputra Sangham Pushes for Housing Scheme Approval in Warangal

Telangana's Gangaputra Sangham is pressing for faster approval of housing benefits for its economically vulnerable members. On Thursday, state secretary and Warangal Gangaputra Housing Society director Tanguturi Rajesh Khanna Gangaputra held discussions with Telangana Housing Corporation Managing Director Gautam to address delays in processing financial assistance.

The pending proposal seeks Rs 5 lakh per member to support home construction under the Indiramma housing initiative. Rajesh Khanna emphasized that clearing these funds would enable numerous low-income households within the Warangal Gangaputra Society to build permanent residences through the government's housing programme.

During the meeting, Rajesh Khanna requested that the corporation prioritize the case file currently under its review. He stressed that timely intervention would be crucial for eligible beneficiaries to access the housing scheme benefits.

The Housing Corporation's managing director indicated openness to the request, committing to escalate the housing assistance proposal to state government decision-makers. Officials indicated their intention to resolve the matter expeditiously and ensure that qualified members receive the necessary support.

The Gangaputra Sangham has been actively advocating for community members to obtain housing assistance through the Indiramma programme, a government initiative aimed at providing shelter solutions for disadvantaged populations.
