Petrol and diesel supplies across Telangana are running well ahead of consumption requirements, according to Civil Supplies Commissioner Stephen Ravindra, who confirmed there are no fuel shortages in the state.

On April 27th, the state received a total of 29,939 kilolitres of fuel—substantially higher than typical daily usage patterns. While the state normally consumes 5,883 kilolitres of petrol and 7,348 kilolitres of diesel per day, deliveries on that date reached 11,490 kilolitres of petrol and 18,449 kilolitres of diesel, ensuring continuous availability for consumers.

To maintain this steady supply chain, officials are conducting regular field-level inspections and coordinating directly with petroleum company representatives across the state's districts. These monitoring efforts are designed to prevent any distribution bottlenecks and guarantee uninterrupted fuel access.

Ravindra has appealed to the public not to engage in hoarding or panic buying based on unverified claims. He emphasized that adequate reserves are in place and urged consumers to purchase fuel according to their actual needs rather than stockpiling in response to unfounded concerns.
