First Batch of Hajj Pilgrims Departs from Hyderabad's Nampally Haj House

Hyderabad's Nampally Haj House witnessed the departure of the inaugural group of pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026 on Sunday evening. Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin presided over the send-off ceremony, blessing 430 devotees who boarded the first flight bound for the holy pilgrimage.
During the event, Azharuddin expressed his wishes for the travellers' safe passage and sought divine blessings for their spiritual journey. He invoked prayers for the acceptance of their religious observances and sought a blessed Hajj experience for all departing pilgrims.
The minister used the occasion to impart guidance to the travellers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining steadfast devotion and strict compliance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's regulations and protocols. Azharuddin further made a personal appeal to the pilgrims, requesting them to keep Telangana and its residents in their prayers throughout their pilgrimage.
Reaffirming the state government's commitment, Azharuddin stated that Telangana remains dedicated to safeguarding the well-being, security, and welfare of all pilgrims undertaking this sacred journey. He highlighted that under the stewardship of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the administration continues to prioritize the interests and welfare of the state's minority communities.
