Eye-Q Inaugurates Enhanced Lucknow Facility, Expands Eye Care Access

Lucknow's eye care landscape received a boost on 7 May 2026 when Eye-Q Super-Speciality Eye Hospitals unveiled its revamped Rajajipuram facility, marking an expansion of the nation's prominent eye care network. The centre's enhancement reflects the organisation's commitment to bringing sophisticated medical infrastructure to regional healthcare markets.

The inauguration ceremony drew prominent dignitaries, including Kaushal Kishore, former Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs and former Member of Parliament, who served as Chief Guest. The event also featured Rajeshwar Singh, MLA from Sarojini Nagar and former Joint Director of the Enforcement Directorate, as Guest of Honour, alongside BJP leader Anjani Srivastava.

Eye-Q's leadership was represented by Dr. Ajay Sharma, CMD and Founder, and Rajat Goel, CEO and Co-founder. Medical staff including Dr. Babar Parvez Khan, Associate Medical Director for the Lucknow and Kanpur region, and Dr. Utsav Deep, Clinical In-Charge of the Rajajipuram Centre, were also present.

The refurbished facility introduces enhanced retina services and advanced Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology, enabling physicians to conduct more precise diagnostic assessments and deliver targeted retinal interventions. The centre consolidates multiple specialties under a single roof, streamlining patient pathways from initial evaluation through treatment.

"Our objective remains democratising world-class eye care by making it both accessible and economical for all," Dr. Ajay Sharma explained, emphasising the role of technological advancement and clinical expertise in achieving this goal. He highlighted how the upgraded infrastructure and diagnostic capabilities support the organisation's broader mission.

Rajat Goel underscored the strategic importance of the expansion, stating that the Rajajipuram upgrade demonstrates Eye-Q's sustained investment in strengthening eye care quality across Lucknow and its periphery. He emphasised the organisation's focus on combining technological innovation with compassionate service delivery.

Dr. Babar Parvez Khan noted that the advanced retina clinic and OCT equipment would enable the medical team to deliver more accurate diagnoses and develop more effective treatment protocols for retinal conditions. The regional medical leadership stressed the team's dedication to individualised, seamless patient experiences.

The centre's service portfolio encompasses cataract procedures, retinal disorder management, glaucoma treatment, refractive vision correction, and routine eye screening. Dr. Utsav Deep highlighted how the combination of modernised equipment and a qualified medical team positions the facility to achieve superior diagnostic accuracy and patient results.

To celebrate the launch, Eye-Q is offering complete eye examinations at ₹100 during a promotional window. This initiative seeks to encourage preventive eye health practices and increase public awareness about the importance of regular vision assessments.
