Ecoworld Bengaluru to Host Stem Cell Donor Drive with DKMS Foundation

April 26, 2026

Ecoworld Bengaluru will bring together the community for a blood stem cell donor registration drive on April 28, working in collaboration with DKMS Foundation India. The initiative, supported by Brookfield Properties, seeks to increase awareness about blood cancer and related blood disorders while mobilising individuals to become registered donors.

DKMS Foundation India operates as a non-profit focused on combating blood cancer alongside other blood disorders including thalassemia and aplastic anaemia. The organisation has built a substantial presence in India, with more than 250,000 registered donors and over 250 donations facilitated across the country. Globally, DKMS maintains operations in 7 countries with a donor registry exceeding 13 million individuals.

Participants attending the drive will benefit from an awareness session highlighting the donation process. The foundation will provide information about stem cell donation, emphasising its straightforward and non-surgical nature. Interested individuals will be able to register as potential donors during the event itself.

The drive will take place on April 28 from 12 PM to 5 PM at Ecoworld, Bengaluru.
