Eatala Rajender Calls for Stricter Enforcement Against Roadside Parking Following Shamshabad Tragedy

Hyderabad: Following a devastating accident near Shamshabad that claimed the lives of nine family members, Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender has issued a strong warning against parking vehicles along roadsides.
The incident has prompted the legislator to highlight the broader crisis of road safety, pointing out that accidents continue to devastate households irrespective of whether they stem from excessive speed, driver inattention, or fatigue. Eatala noted that despite widespread campaigns emphasizing safety over velocity, such messaging has failed to translate into meaningful behavioral change among road users.
Speaking on the gravity of the situation, Eatala emphasized that every motorist carries the responsibility of returning safely to their loved ones waiting at home. He particularly flagged the hazards created by improper roadside parking, warning that such violations place other road users at serious risk and frequently result in tragic outcomes.
Describing the loss of nine members from a single household in the Shamshabad incident as deeply distressing, Eatala expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and offered prayers for the departed souls.
The MP has urged law enforcement authorities to intensify action against those who engage in roadside parking that violates traffic safety regulations. He stressed that immediate intervention is essential to prevent further fatalities resulting from such negligent practices.
Eatala further emphasized that accident prevention requires collective effort from all stakeholders. He appealed to the public to adhere rigorously to traffic regulations and exercise responsible driving practices to safeguard community welfare.
