Yadadri Police Launch Drive Against Drug Abuse with Community Awareness Campaign

Yadadri Superintendent of Police Anksh Yadav has called upon residents to take active responsibility in creating a drug-free community, addressing participants at an awareness initiative held in Bhuvanagiri on Friday.

Organisers structured the campaign around a 2-kilometre run designed to educate the public about the dangers of substance abuse. The superintendent led participants through a pledge commitment, emphasising the importance of maintaining distance from narcotic substances.

Speaking at the event, Yadav stressed that meaningful progress toward eliminating drug abuse requires genuine involvement from ordinary citizens. He urged community members to embrace wellness practices and support societal advancement by firmly rejecting substance dependency.

The programme brought together several senior law enforcement personnel and administrative officials from the district. Among those present were Additional SP Lakshminarayana, DSP Ravinder, Traffic DSP Prabhakar Reddy, and various Circle Inspectors.

Police officials underscored that preventing drug-related issues hinges on sustained public engagement and shared accountability across communities. They highlighted how collective action remains fundamental to safeguarding younger generations and fostering secure neighbourhoods for all residents.
