Oberoi Mall is set to launch an exciting summer gaming initiative with a large-scale UNO Tournament running across May 15th through 17th, 2026. Produced in collaboration with Mattel, the event merges the classic appeal of the beloved card game with competitive tournament gameplay, welcoming both experienced strategists and newcomers to participate.

The centerpiece of this activation is an expansive 16×16 ft arena dedicated to UNO competition, accommodating 24 players simultaneously across six seats per table. Matches promise to deliver fast-paced gameplay with spectator appeal, creating an energetic atmosphere for both competitors and observers.

The tournament takes place at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon (East), Mumbai over the three-day weekend period from Friday, May 15th through Sunday, May 17th, 2026.

How to Participate

Entry requires purchasing any Mattel product from participating retailers including Hamleys, Crossword, or the dedicated UNO Kiosk on-site. Prospective players must then present their purchase documentation at the registration desk to confirm their tournament entry.

Prize Structure and Rewards

Participants stand to win substantial rewards throughout the event. The grand champion will take home Rs. 50,000 in cash, while daily winners receive curated hampers. Every participant receives exclusive UNO merchandise as a token of participation. The tournament operates across ten mall locations with one grand winner selected per venue.

Competition Format

Friday and Saturday feature qualifying rounds split into two time slots. The Afternoon Heat runs from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, with table winners advancing to a 4:00 PM playoff round and receiving a ₹6,000 Mattel gift hamper. The Evening Surge occupies 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with winners similarly progressing to a 7:30 PM playoff and earning the same ₹6,000 hamper. The top three finishers from each slot qualify for Sunday's championship rounds.

Sunday culminates the tournament with final qualifying rounds running until 7:00 PM. At 7:30 PM, eighteen finalists compete in semi-final matches across three tables. The championship table at 8:15 PM features the final six competitors vying for the title.
