Delhi Public School Indirapuram Celebrates Scholar Badge Ceremony Honouring Class IV Achievers

Ghaziabad: Delhi Public School Indirapuram (DPSI) marked a significant milestone on April 28, 2026, when it held a Scholar Badge Ceremony dedicated to honouring Class V students for their remarkable academic accomplishments during the 2025–26 session in Class IV. The occasion brought together the school community in a celebration of scholarly achievement and personal growth.

The ceremony commenced with a traditional welcome ceremony for school leadership, including Principal Ms. Priya Elizabeth John, Headmistress Ms. Shaloo Tandan, and Academic Coordinator Ms. Divya Kumar. The ceremonial lamp-lighting ritual that followed symbolised the transition from darkness to enlightenment, setting a meaningful tone for the proceedings.

The programme featured cultural performances that captured the spirit of the occasion. The school choir delivered a performance of "Together We Shine," emphasising the value of collaboration and mutual support among students. A spirited dance performance to the track 'Thaan Liya' further elevated the energy of the event, motivating attendees to pursue excellence with determination.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Priya Elizabeth John extended her congratulations to the recipients and acknowledged the contributions of student narrators. She urged all pupils to maintain discipline and unwavering commitment as they pursue their educational objectives.

The ceremony's centrepiece was the presentation of Scholar Badges and certificates to 268 students spanning Classes IV A through IV L from the 2025–26 session. A particularly memorable segment involved inviting grandparents to present certificates to their grandchildren, infusing the event with familial warmth and intergenerational pride.

Beyond the Scholar Badges, the school also conferred proficiency certificates upon Class III and IV students demonstrating academic excellence. Additionally, certificates recognising 100% attendance were distributed to acknowledge the commitment of consistently present learners.

The event concluded with the School Anthem, reinforcing institutional pride and leaving participants with a renewed sense of inspiration. The ceremony successfully fostered an environment celebrating achievement while encouraging continued academic excellence among the student body.
