Madhav S Rajput's New Single 'Dard' Marks Career Milestone for Bihar Singer

Mumbai, May 18, 2026 — A fresh pop single titled 'Dard' has emerged as a viral sensation since its debut on T-Series' Pop Chartbusters YouTube channel. For vocalist Madhav S Rajput from Bihar, the release represents a significant turning point in his musical journey, with listeners connecting deeply to the track's emotional resonance.

Upon first hearing the composition from musician Kamz Mehra, Rajput found himself momentarily speechless. The lyrics penned by Sindhu struck him with their profound depth, as though his own life's sentiments had been translated into words. He noted that the combination of violinist Yunus Warsi's strings alongside his vocal performance created an emotional impact difficult to capture in language alone.

"It felt like my own story," Rajput reflected, emphasizing that 'Dard' transcends a typical music release—it represents a deeply intimate experience connected to his inner self.

The production involved a dedicated ensemble of contributors. Producer Sanjay Bhushan and director Neha Mahendra Soni earned Rajput's appreciation for their trust in his artistry. Working alongside emerging actress Pragati Puri proved memorable for the singer. The team at Vizhel Productions, cinematographer Shahid Sheikh, and creative director Meenakshi SR collaborated to craft visuals brimming with emotion in each frame.

The creative process demonstrated meticulous attention across all stages. Mehra, who composed the music, also handled mixing and mastering duties. Recording took place at Kamz Music Studio in Kathras Delhi under engineer Rakshit, and at BNS Studio with engineer Suresh Chandra.

The track's reception exceeded expectations, accumulating millions of views within its first 24 hours and trending on social media under #DardSong.

Reflecting on his trajectory, Rajput acknowledged the challenges of rising from a small Bihar town to reach a platform as prominent as T-Series. He expressed gratitude to his fans, family, and faith, pledging to continue sharing authentic narratives from his life through music, provided such encouragement persists.
