Family Tensions, Not Politics, Behind Kavitha's Party Deliberations: Danam Nagender

Hyderabad: Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender has suggested that personal family tensions, rather than political convictions, are driving K. Kavitha's apparent move toward establishing a new political party.

Commenting on the recent political developments, Danam Nagender took issue with Kavitha's characterization of her father and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as a "robot". He contended that domestic disagreements within the family have prompted her shift in political direction.

Simultaneously, the MLA rejected Kavitha's assertions that Telangana is experiencing "rakshasa palana"—or demonic governance—under the current Congress administration. Danam Nagender countered that the Congress government in Telangana was setting a positive example that could serve as a model for the nation. He further maintained that welfare initiatives were being successfully delivered to beneficiaries across the state.

During remarks made at a public programme attended by local leaders and tahsildars, Danam Nagender highlighted upcoming housing initiatives. He announced that the government would soon approve 3,500 Indiramma houses for each constituency. The MLA emphasized that the Congress administration was prioritizing the realization of adequate housing for economically disadvantaged families, rather than focusing primarily on political opposition and criticism.
