Health Minister urges Congress workers to boost voter roll awareness at Sangareddy training

Telangana State Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha has called upon Congress party workers to intensify their efforts in spreading awareness about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and take active part in the voter list revision initiative during a training session for Booth Level Agents in Sangareddy Assembly constituency.

The training programme was attended by TPCC president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, who served as the chief guest alongside the minister.

During the event, the leaders outlined the core objectives of the Special Intensive Revision and underscored the significance of maintaining precise and up-to-date electoral registers. They encouraged party workers to carefully review voter lists to guarantee that all qualified citizens are properly registered.

The leaders also emphasized the importance of identifying and removing duplicate voter entries as well as purging ineligible names from the rolls. They further detailed the steps involved in correcting mistakes and discrepancies in voter registration records.

According to Damodar Raja Narasimha, it is essential for every party functionary to develop a thorough comprehension of the SIR mechanism. He noted that increased awareness among workers would facilitate better verification and correction of voter information.

The leaders put forward various recommendations aimed at strengthening participation at the grassroots level in the voter list revision exercise.

Several prominent figures participated in the programme, including MP Suresh Shetkar, Narayankhed MLA Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy, Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairperson Nirmala Jaggareddy, and senior Congress leader Turupu Jayaprakash Reddy. Kata Srinivas Goud, Pathancheru Congress in-charge, Neelam Madhu Mudiraj, and other district-level party leaders were also present.
