Hyderabad's Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has ordered officials to put comprehensive arrangements in place for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit on May 10.

During a Tuesday meeting at the Secretariat, the Chief Secretary took stock of the state's readiness for the high-profile visit, during which the Prime Minister will launch development projects and address a gathering of citizens.

All departments have been instructed to maintain tight coordination to ensure the visit proceeds without incident. The Chief Secretary underscored the importance of meticulous planning across every location involved in the Prime Minister's itinerary.

The police have been tasked with overseeing security operations, maintaining public order, and managing traffic flow throughout the visit. Officials have been directed to strictly adhere to Blue Book protocol requirements.

Fire service personnel will be positioned strategically with adequate equipment at critical locations including Begumpet Airport, helicopter landing zones, and event sites. The health sector has been asked to ensure medical support is readily available at all times during the visit.

Teams from the police department, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and Roads and Buildings will conduct inspections of the routes the Prime Minister's convoy will take, with repairs to be expedited. The electricity authority has been instructed to guarantee continuous power supply across all areas connected to the visit.

The Chief Secretary highlighted that seamless coordination between various government departments would be vital to the success of the arrangements.
