Hyderabad: Party officials and workers gathered at Crystal Garden in Kamareddy town on Tuesday as the Congress Party conducted its Political Affairs Committee and district executive meetings.

The occasion was marked by the presence of TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir, who served as chief guests for the programme.

The event drew participation from Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao, Jukkal MLA Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao, former MLA Yousuf Ali, and DCC president Ale Mallikarjun alongside numerous district-level party figures. Presidents of Congress-affiliated organizations, mandal presidents, town presidents, and party workers were also in attendance.

A key component of the district executive meeting involved the formal induction of newly appointed district executive members, mandal presidents, and town presidents, who took their oaths of office. Party leadership distributed appointment letters to these newly designated office-bearers.

Focus on organizational consolidation

In his remarks, government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir underscored the necessity for Congress to strengthen its organizational structure from grassroots levels upward. He called upon party members to transcend personal interests and collaborate effectively within their communities.

Shabbir emphasized that party workers bear responsibility for ensuring that government welfare and development initiatives reach all households. He outlined Congress's commitment to raising public concerns with the administration and facilitating solutions to community problems. Shabbir noted that the party recognizes and rewards leaders who demonstrate unwavering dedication.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud stressed that the newly constituted executive committee would prove instrumental in bolstering the Congress organization's strength. He instructed party workers to execute programmes with greater intensity across village, mandal, and town constituencies, while promoting awareness regarding state government welfare schemes and development projects.

Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao highlighted how synchronized efforts among party workers would contribute to strengthening Congress's position in the district. Jukkal MLA Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao acknowledged the organization's historical growth through worker dedication and appealed for collective action from leaders.

The programme also included former DCC president Kailas Srinivas Rao, Library Chairman Chandrakanth Reddy, town president A. Sandeep, and Municipal Chairperson Ippa Umarani Srinivas.
