ConfirmTkt Offers Free Bengaluru Metro Rides for RCB Finals Match Day

Bengaluru will see a special mobility initiative as ConfirmTkt, India's primary authorised online train ticketing and travel platform (part of ixigo group), rolls out free metro tickets across the city on the day of the cricket finals. The company, which serves as the official train ticketing partner for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), unveiled the offer to commemorate the team's progression to the finals.

On May 31st, 2026—the match day—every resident in Bengaluru will be able to access complimentary metro travel on any of the city's metro lines by booking directly through the ConfirmTkt app. The move aims to streamline the match day experience by eliminating transportation hassles such as parking difficulties, traffic congestion, and station queues.

The initiative targets both fans planning to attend viewing parties at designated fan zones throughout the city and those catching the game with loved ones. ConfirmTkt positions the offer as part of a broader push to help the city's residents move efficiently, travel responsibly, and enjoy the sporting occasion without logistical friction.

How the offer works:

Fans can access the free metro tickets by launching the ConfirmTkt app, navigating to the Metro Tickets section, and completing the booking process. Each user can claim up to two free rides on the day, with a maximum value of Rs. 100 per ride. The offer applies to all Bengaluru Metro network lines on May 31st, 2026.

Dinesh Kumar Kotha, Chief Executive Officer of ixigo Trains & ConfirmTkt, commented on the initiative: "RCB's advancement to the finals represents a significant achievement for Bengaluru. As a platform dedicated to facilitating travel for millions daily, we recognised this milestone as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the city. Through complimentary metro rides, we're enabling supporters to avoid congestion and concentrate on the experience of celebrating match day alongside those closest to them. Our goal is to make travel more accessible, environmentally conscious, and hassle-free for all city residents."

Users interested in taking advantage of the offer can download or update the ConfirmTkt app and book their free metro journeys through the designated metro ticketing section.
