Hyderabad: As part of its "One Ward Every Day" initiative, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner undertook a comprehensive field review of RC Puram ward in Ameenpur Circle, Serilingampally Zone, on Monday.

During the inspection, the Commissioner assessed various civic infrastructure projects and service delivery mechanisms while meeting with local residents to understand ground-level conditions and concerns.

At Kakatiya Nagar Park, residents raised concerns about inadequate street lighting and park upkeep. The Commissioner instructed the Deputy Commissioner to coordinate with the Electricity Department to address the street light meter requirement and ordered that maintenance activities commence immediately without further delay.

The Community Hall was another focus area, where officials presented a proposal for first-floor construction. The Commissioner asked for detailed cost estimates to be prepared and submitted for formal approval.

A significant agenda item involved the potential relocation of the Municipal Circle Office. The Commissioner directed staff to develop a location sketch map for his review, with the proposed shift targeting the MPDO building within RC Puram.

Development work at Raya Samudram Lake received considerable attention. The Commissioner noted that HMDA has sanctioned ₹15 crore for the project and that tender processes have been finalized. He ordered the immediate clearance of water hyacinth from the lake and instructed the Deputy Commissioner to organize a joint meeting with BHEL officials to resolve outstanding issues affecting the lake.

The inspection also encompassed waste management and sanitation services. The Commissioner reviewed the door-to-door waste collection system, assessed its operational efficiency, and identified areas prone to garbage accumulation. He directed officials to implement preventive measures at these vulnerable points.

Emphasizing adherence to the 99 Days Action Plan, the Commissioner stressed the importance of strict execution of all scheduled activities and instructed officials to meet established project timelines. The visit underscored the administration's commitment to direct engagement with residents and ensuring prompt resolution of local issues.
