Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Logs 63 Complaints in Weekly Grievance Redressal Initiative

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) recorded 63 citizen complaints on Monday through its Prajavani programme, a weekly mechanism for addressing public grievances.

Department heads reviewed the incoming complaints and were instructed to prioritise resolution efforts, maintain consistent follow-ups, and take corrective action across their respective divisions.

Town planning emerged as the department with the most complaints, accounting for 42 of the 63 grievances filed. The engineering division received 10 complaints, while the sanitation department fielded three.

The electrical and urban biodiversity departments each registered two grievances during the session. The remaining complaints—one each—were directed to the entomology, finance and administration, projects, and vigilance and enforcement departments.

To strengthen oversight and ensure accountability throughout the resolution process, CMC officials assigned each grievance a distinct tracking identification number. This system enables transparent monitoring and documentation of progress at every level.

Department officials have been directed to furnish regular updates on actions taken and sustain their engagement with each complaint until full resolution is achieved.
