Hyderabad: The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, has received an invitation to participate in the Saraswati Pushkaralu festival being held at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy temple located in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

The sacred celebrations will span from May 21 through June 1 at the Triveni Sangam shrine, with temple authorities and government officials anticipating substantial attendance from pilgrims throughout the festival duration.

A delegation comprising Forest and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha, senior government officials, and the temple's priestly contingent met with the Chief Minister to formally present the invitation. During this meeting, the temple priests bestowed traditional Vedic blessings upon the Chief Minister and presented him with sacred prasadam and tirtham from the deity.

Intensive preparations are underway at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy temple, which holds significant status as a major pilgrimage destination within Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. The festival arrangements are being coordinated by multiple government departments and temple administration.

The invitation programme drew attendance from various political and administrative figures. Among those present were MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Kiran Kumar Reddy. Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah was also in attendance, alongside Endowments Department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer, Commissioner Hanumantha Rao, and temple Executive Officer Mahesh.
