Telangana Chief Secretary Reviews Praja Paalana Pragati Pranalika Implementation

Hyderabad — Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju held a comprehensive review of the Praja Paalana Pragati Pranalika programme, which ran across the state between March 6 and June 12. The meeting examined departmental efforts and results delivered throughout Telangana.

Department representatives presented comprehensive reports detailing work conducted from district administrations down to Gram Panchayat level. Nodal officers briefed the Chief Secretary on challenges and gaps discovered during ground-level visits, and shared examples of successful innovations implemented by district authorities that yielded measurable improvements.

Jaju instructed nodal officers to engage District Collectors on critical matters and pinpoint issues demanding urgent action. Officials were directed to categorise both financial and non-financial concerns in order of priority, ensuring swift resolution.

The Chief Secretary emphasised that government departments should prioritise low-cost initiatives with substantial public impact. He stressed that channelling resources toward such schemes would strengthen governance standards and enhance service delivery to citizens.

Planning Secretary Gaurav Uppal presented a detailed overview of the 99-Day Programme, detailing accomplishments across its various components.

The review session was attended by Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, nodal officers, and other high-ranking government officials.
