Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Incident on Hyderabad Road

A tragic road accident in Hyderabad has claimed the life of a young woman in what authorities are treating as a hit-and-run case.
Fatima Begum, 25, from Noori Nagar in Bandlaguda, was fatally injured when a tipper lorry collided with the scooter she was travelling on. The incident occurred on the Chandrayangutta-Bandlaguda road during a U-turn, with the heavy vehicle striking the two-wheeler at high speed before the driver abandoned the scene.
According to police records, Begum was heading back home alongside her husband after attending a wedding celebration. The couple was accompanied by two children belonging to relatives, also riding on the same scooter.
The force of the collision proved fatal for Begum, who succumbed to severe injuries at the location. Her husband and the two children accompanying them sustained no injuries in the incident.
The Bandlaguda Police have registered a formal case in connection with the accident. Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV recordings from surrounding areas to identify and locate the lorry driver responsible for the collision and subsequent abandonment of the vehicle.
