BRS Holds Roadblock Protest in Amberpet Demanding Action Against Bandi Sai Bhageerath

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi staged a roadblock demonstration at 6 Number Circle in Amberpet on Tuesday, pressing for the immediate arrest of Bandi Sai Bhageerath following allegations connected to a minor girl.
The mobilization was organized by the BRS party unit covering the Amberpet constituency. Party leaders and women activists chanted slogans targeting Union Minister Bandi Sanjay and his son throughout the event.
MLA Kaleru Venkatesh led the demonstration alongside BRS functionaries and ground-level party workers.
During his address at the protest, Venkatesh contended that the authorities were deliberately downgrading the severity of the matter by characterizing it as a honey-trap rather than invoking provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The MLA further alleged that recent developments vindicated claims about coordination between the BJP and Congress within the state.
Venkatesh called upon Bandi Sanjay to assume accountability for the incident and step down from his ministerial position. He simultaneously urged the government to expedite the arrest of the accused and place him in police custody.
Addressing the gathered crowd, Venkatesh emphasized the necessity of sustained public pressure to ensure the victim's family receives justice from the system.
