BRS celebrates 26th foundation day with statewide events and leadership meeting

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is marking its 26th foundation day with celebrations spanning across Telangana, culminating in a significant gathering of party leadership at its headquarters.
The party, which was established on April 27, 2001, has now completed a quarter-century and is entering its 26th year of operation. The day's proceedings will commence with Working President K T Rama Rao raising the party flag at Telangana Bhavan at 11 am. The leadership has simultaneously called upon party workers to organise flag-hoisting ceremonies in villages, towns, mandals, and district headquarters throughout the state.
A crucial meeting has been scheduled for 2 pm at Telangana Bhavan, presided over by party president K Chandrasekhar Rao. The gathering will bring together MLAs, MPs, former legislators, district presidents, and other senior party functionaries.
During this meeting, K Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to reflect on the party's trajectory, including its 14-year period of agitation leading up to statehood, followed by a decade of governance. The party president will also assess the organisation's performance over the past two-and-a-half years since entering opposition. Additionally, he will provide strategic guidance to revitalise and expand the party's organisational structure in the months ahead.
The day's schedule includes a potential media interaction with K Chandrasekhar Rao around 5 pm, as part of the foundation day observance.
