Hyderabad: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) formalised partnerships with two leading healthcare management institutions on Monday, marking an expansion of its academic offerings in the field of hospital administration and healthcare services.

The university signed Memorandums of Understanding with Renova Institute of Health Care Management and RVM Institute of Hospital Management to establish MBA courses focused on Hospital and Healthcare Management (HHCM).

The formal exchange of agreements took place at BRAOU's campus, with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani overseeing the proceedings alongside other senior university leadership. Registrar Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy facilitated the signing with Dr. Wajeehuddin Ahmed Waris, Principal of Renova Institute of Health Care Management, and Sri P. Ravinder, Principal of RVM Institute of Hospital Management.

The collaborative initiative drew participation from multiple stakeholders across both institutions. Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, who serves as Director (Academic), and Prof. Anand Pawar, Dean of Commerce and Business Management, were among those present at the campus event. Prof. D. Rabindranath Solomon, Officer on Special Duty to the Vice-Chancellor, also attended the ceremony.

Additional attendees included Dr. Y. Venkateswarlu, Director of LSSB, and Prof. Y.S. Kiranmaye, along with faculty members and representatives from both partner institutions.

According to the university, these institutional collaborations are designed to deepen academic engagement in the hospital and healthcare management education sector, creating enhanced learning opportunities for students pursuing advanced qualifications in these domains.
