Sreeleela Becomes Face of Birla Opus Paints

Hyderabad — Birla Opus Paints has brought on actor Sreeleela as its brand ambassador, the company announced. The paint manufacturer, which operates under Grasim Industries as part of the Aditya Birla Group, selected Sreeleela to reinforce its positioning around the concept of "Naye Zamane Ka Naya Paint" (new-age paint for modern times).

The brand cited Sreeleela's appeal among younger audiences and her visible presence in entertainment as key reasons for the partnership, noting that her involvement would help strengthen consumer connection and market relevance.

The collaboration launches two new campaign films featuring Sreeleela alongside actors Lillete Dubey and Sheeba Chaddha. The advertisements are set in two high-traffic urban locations—a shopping mall and a metro station—and emphasize the product's protective qualities, including stain resistance exceeding 99 percent and wood finishes resistant to scratching.

The campaign builds on Birla Opus's existing "Main Bhi…" initiative. Through narrative-driven storytelling and comedic elements, the films demonstrate how everyday users become authentic advocates for the brand once they experience its performance firsthand. The creative approach positions consumer testimonials as the most persuasive form of marketing.
