Deputy CM Inaugurates National Mart Supermarket in Khammam, Eyes Economic Growth

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu formally opened the National Mart supermarket in Khammam on Wednesday, highlighting the retail venture's potential to drive employment and economic expansion in the city.

At the inauguration ceremony, Vikramarka underscored how retail sector investments strengthen local commerce while creating job opportunities for residents. He characterised such commercial establishments as catalysts for urban economic development.

The Deputy Chief Minister voiced optimism that the new supermarket would bolster Khammam's commercial ecosystem, delivering value to both consumers and local enterprises.

Several senior officials graced the event, including Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, SUDA Chairman Puvvalla Durgaprasad, Warehousing Corporation Chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao, and DCC President Noothi Satyanarayana, alongside other district-level leaders.

The inauguration reflected the state government's commitment to fostering business expansion and upgrading commercial infrastructure across regional urban centres. Attendees noted that strengthening retail and trade sectors could unlock fresh economic possibilities for Khammam's residents and businesses.
