Telangana and US Deepen Ties at Freedom 250 Celebration in Hyderabad

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu participated in Freedom 250 festivities held at the United States Consulate in Hyderabad, using the occasion to underscore the expanding collaborative relationship between Telangana and the United States across multiple sectors of strategic importance.

At the gathering, Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized that ties between Telangana and America are anchored in robust cultural foundations. He pointed out that Telugu ranks among the world's fastest-growing languages within the United States and characterized the connection as transcending mere commercial interests.

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted Hyderabad's trajectory as a global business hub, noting the city's significant role in establishing international corporate leadership. He observed that when multinational firms open development operations in Hyderabad, the city frequently produces prominent global executives and sector innovators.

Partnership extends beyond technology

The collaboration between Telangana and the United States is advancing into new domains beyond information technology, the Deputy Chief Minister noted. He identified artificial intelligence, renewable energy, life sciences, and aerospace as emerging areas offering fresh possibilities for joint ventures and capital infusion.

A major highlight of the celebration was the dedication of a roadway adjacent to the US Consulate, named in honor of US President Donald Trump. US Ambassador Sergio Gor and US Consul General Lara Williams were present for the unveiling ceremony.

Bhatti Vikramarka commended the US Consulate's efforts to incorporate local cultural and architectural elements into its newly constructed facility. He voiced optimism that the bilateral partnership would continue to deepen through sustained dialogue and cooperative initiatives in the years ahead.
