Two Differently-Abled Residents Receive Battery-Operated Tricycles in Hyderabad

Hyderabad's District Collector Garima Agrawal took immediate action on Monday to assist two individuals with mobility challenges by providing them with battery-operated tricycles.
The beneficiaries, identified as Uppula Srinivas from Suddala village in Konaraopet mandal and Komire Parashuramulu from Gudem village in Mustabad mandal, had visited the Integrated District Offices Complex for administrative matters when the Collector observed their difficulties firsthand.
During a personal interaction with the two men, Agrawal inquired about their respective villages and the obstacles they encounter in their daily routines. Both explained that severe mobility restrictions significantly hampered their ability to travel and carry out essential tasks.
Upon learning of their challenges, the Collector promptly instructed District Welfare Officer Lakshmirajam to expedite the provision of battery-operated tricycles to both individuals.
The tricycles, complete with safety helmets, were formally handed over to the beneficiaries at the IDOC premises. According to district officials, the motorized vehicles will enable the two men to move about independently and perform their daily activities with greater ease and comfort.
Both recipients expressed appreciation for the Collector's swift and compassionate response to their situation. They also commended the district administration for demonstrating sensitivity to their needs and providing timely assistance through this mobility solution.
