Bangalore: Bank of Baroda, a major public sector financial institution in India, took part in the nationwide 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah' initiative, which ran from June 17 to June 26, 2026. The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment organized the week-long drive under the banner "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchaan," coinciding with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The campaign sought to build public consciousness regarding the damaging consequences of substance abuse while mobilizing society toward establishing a drug-free nation.

The bank deployed multiple channels to disseminate the campaign's core message to its audience. Its website, social media accounts, and branch locations all featured campaign materials and awareness content. Posters and promotional graphics were prominently displayed across the bank's branch network to ensure wider visibility and encourage participation from customers and the general public.

Bank of Baroda utilized its vast network of clients and partners to spread information about the benefits of living without addiction and fostering a healthy, responsible community. The bank's involvement underscored its dedication to corporate social responsibility and efforts aimed at advancing national development and improving the quality of life for communities it serves.
