Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has firmly rejected mounting speculation about his departure from the BJP, as well as claims that he intends to establish an alternative political organization.

Speaking to journalists at the BJP's state office in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Bandi Sanjay reiterated his unwavering allegiance to the party. "If you ask any committed BJP activist about their last wish, they would say they want the saffron flag draped over their mortal remains. That is my wish too," he stated.

The minister also addressed circulating reports of his removal from the Union Cabinet, dismissing them as baseless speculation.

Bandi Sanjay directed sharp criticism at K. T. Rama Rao, accusing him of orchestrating a disinformation drive through select media outlets. The Union Minister contended that certain television networks and online platforms had disseminated false narratives at the behest of BRS leadership.

He suggested that political rivals have grown increasingly hostile following the BJP's instrumental role in dismantling the BRS government's decade-long tenure in Telangana. According to Bandi Sanjay, some opposition figures have attempted to tarnish his reputation through false allegations and sought his arrest due to his vocal criticism of what he characterized as the "corruption and feudal politics" practiced under the previous administration.

The media briefing was attended by BJP MLA Rakesh Reddy, MLC Anji Reddy, and party spokesperson N. V. Subhash.
