Indulekha Bringha Hair Serum Completes Second Clinical Trial, Demonstrates New Hair Growth in 90 Days

Bangalore: Indulekha has announced the completion of its second extensive clinical trial examining the efficacy of its Bringha Hair Growth Serum, reinforcing its standing as India's most scientifically tested hair growth serum.
The latest research, conducted during 2025 and building on findings from 2024, has produced striking results:
• Generation of 11,000 new hair strands within a 90-day period, verified through systematic scientific evaluation • Performance double that of serums formulated with 3% Redensyl • A 74% improvement in the Anagen-to-Telogen (A:T) ratio, indicating restoration of a healthier hair growth cycle
Registered Clinical Research Organisations carried out the trials under the guidance of dermatologists and Ayurvedic practitioners.
"Our commitment has consistently been to unite traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with evidence-based clinical research," stated Sairam Subramanian, VP of Haircare at Unilever. "Through two separate clinical evaluations spanning consecutive years, we aim to provide consumers with complete transparency and assurance regarding the product's demonstrated effectiveness and tangible outcomes."
The research reveals that the formulation operates at the follicular level to support the body's natural hair growth mechanisms. Among participants, 97% confirmed that the serum enhanced hair thickness and created visible improvements in hair volume.
The scalp serum market has become increasingly saturated with brands offering comparable 3% Redensyl formulations. To serve consumers more effectively, Indulekha conducted a comparative clinical evaluation of 3% Redensyl against its own Hair Growth Serum, ensuring a more scientifically rigorous and credible assessment.
The paired studies enrolled participants aged 20 to 45 years, comprising both men and women experiencing early to moderate hair thinning. Researchers assessed multiple indicators of hair health and growth, encompassing new hair development, hair loss patterns, follicle resilience, and scalp barrier integrity.
Study participants reported substantial visible improvements:
• 100% observed thicker-appearing hair • 97% noted a marked decrease in hair shedding • 97% demonstrated enhanced hair density
Results from the 2024 trial have already entered publication, while findings from 2025 have been submitted to the International Journal of Research in Dermatology for publication.
The company's approach demonstrates a wider commitment to merging conventional Ayurvedic knowledge with contemporary dermatological expertise. All clinical studies involved Indian participants with genuine hair loss concerns, ensuring findings reflect the specific characteristics of Indian scalp conditions and hair density profiles. Indulekha continues to prioritize scientific validation across its range of Ayurvedic-based products.
