Ayekart Appoints Gagan Choudhary as Chief Financial Officer

Ayekart, positioned as India's pioneering full-stack B2B Agri Food Commerce Network, has named Gagan Choudhary to the role of Chief Financial Officer. The move is designed to reinforce the company's executive team as it pursues expansion of its technology-driven agricultural and food supply chain infrastructure throughout India, while also eyeing international growth opportunities.
Choudhary carries more than two decades of professional experience spanning finance, accounting, treasury operations, and strategic financial planning. His background encompasses sectors including retail, capital markets, banking, and financial services, with particular strength in fundraising, IPO preparation, treasury administration, financial operations management, governance frameworks, and developing financial systems suited to rapidly expanding enterprises.
In his new position at Ayekart, Choudhary will oversee the company's financial strategy and operational matters, with emphasis on enhancing financial governance, optimizing capital deployment, and establishing institutional structures that will enable the company's forthcoming expansion phase.
Debarshi Dutta, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ayekart, remarked on the appointment: "As we expand our end-to-end farm-to-fork infrastructure, maintaining robust financial systems and governance practices is fundamental to achieving sustainable growth. Gagan brings considerable expertise in financial strategy, capital management, and operational governance, together with proven capability in developing strong organisational frameworks. His involvement will bolster both Ayekart's financial standing and institutional capacity as we move forward."
Choudhary commented on joining the organisation: "Ayekart has developed a distinctive and robust platform spanning the agri-food sector through the strategic integration of technology, operational excellence, and supply chain coordination. I am eager to collaborate with the team to enhance financial rigour, strengthen governance structures, and develop the institutional competencies essential for building sustainable expansion."
