K.T. Rama Rao Invited to 2026 Telugu Conference in Maryland

K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former minister, has received an invitation from the American Telugu Association (ATA) to attend their upcoming Telugu Conference in the United States.

A delegation from ATA met with KTR to extend an invitation to the 19th ATA Telugu Conference, slated for July 31 and August 1-2, 2026, in Maryland. The delegation included ATA president Jayanth Challa, National Coordinator Sharath Vemula, Conference Coordinator Tirumala Reddy, and Eshwar Reddy Banda.

During their meeting, Challa and Vemula outlined the conference's planned programmes and discussed matters of concern to the Indian community in the United States, as well as developments in American political affairs. The delegation also detailed the objectives and activities scheduled for the three-day event.

The 19th ATA Telugu Conference is anticipated to draw members of the Telugu diaspora from across the United States and beyond. KTR responded positively to the invitation and indicated his interest in attending the conference.
