Hyderabad Medical Board Releases Merit List for 433 Assistant Professor Vacancies

Hyderabad's Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board announced the provisional merit list on Tuesday for 433 Assistant Professor vacancies in government medical colleges across the state.
As per the selection protocol, candidates have been called for certificate verification in a 1:3 ratio for each position. The verification sessions are scheduled for May 22 and 23 at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare in Vengal Rao Nagar.
Candidates are required to bring their educational qualifications, community certificates, and all other mandatory documentation to the verification appointments. Those unable to appear on either of the two scheduled dates have the option to submit their certificates by May 25.
The recruitment drive stems from a notification issued last year by the Board to fill 607 Assistant Professor positions across 34 departments in government medical colleges. Of these, 174 positions spanning Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Anesthesia have already gone through the selection process, with Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha recently presenting appointment letters to the successful candidates for those roles.
The Board's latest merit list covers the remaining 433 posts distributed across 30 departments. Following the certificate verification phase, the Board will release the final list of selected candidates.
