Arnya Real Estate Fund Advisors Names Piyush Thakkar as Director of Investments

Arnya Real Estate Fund Advisors has elevated its leadership structure with the appointment of Piyush Thakkar to the newly filled role of Director – Investments. The Mumbai-based firm said the move reflects its commitment to bolstering its senior management ranks while expanding its investment platform to support its strategic expansion objectives.

Thakkar brings extensive credentials to the position, holding a Chartered Accountant designation and drawing on more than two decades of professional experience spanning real estate credit, structured finance, and risk management. His career has focused on engineering asset-backed investment structures with particular attention to mitigating downside risks, protecting capital, and generating steady risk-adjusted returns for investors.

The bulk of Thakkar's career was spent at Kotak Mahindra Bank and related group concerns, where he accumulated over 20 years of service collaborating with real estate developers, project sponsors, and institutional capital providers. Most recently, he served as a Founding Member at Ionic Wealth & Asset Management, part of the Angel One Group, where he established and directed the firm's debt investment division across various investment strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University.
