Telangana releases provisional results for 1,931 ANM positions following court directive on weightage

Telangana's Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) has unveiled the provisional results for recruitment spanning 1,931 positions as Multi-Purpose Health Assistants and Auxiliary Nurse Midwives across the state.
The recruitment initiative drew applications from 24,268 candidates, of whom 20,600 participated in the Computer Based Test administered by the Board.
The provisional merit list was compiled using CBT scores and a revised weightage framework. This revision came after the High Court instructed the Board to lower the weightage allocated for contract and outsourcing service experience from 30 marks to 20 marks.
Candidates are entitled to review their information and lodge grievances online during the window of May 18 through May 22 until 5 pm, provided they identify any errors or inconsistencies in the provisional roster.
The Board has stipulated that each applicant may file objections just once throughout this designated timeframe. Candidates are encouraged to consolidate all necessary supporting materials into a single PDF document when submitting their concerns through the online portal.
Among the vacant positions, 1,666 fall under the purview of the Health and Family Welfare Department, whereas 265 positions are allocated to the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad.
The MHSRB has indicated that the entire recruitment exercise remains contingent upon the resolution of ongoing legal matters pending in various courts.
