Fatal Head-On Collision on AMB Flyover Claims Two Lives

Hyderabad witnessed a fatal traffic accident on Friday morning on the AMB Flyover, claiming two lives in a head-on collision involving a motorcycle and a scooter operating in the wrong direction.

The incident unfolded in the jurisdiction of Gachibowli Police Station when a Royal Enfield motorcycle heading from Gachibowli towards Hafizpet met a scooter approaching from the opposite direction. The scooter operator was traveling contrary to traffic regulations, and the two vehicles collided at considerable speed, hurling both riders onto the pavement.

The collision proved fatal for two individuals. Srikanth, who was operating the scooter, and Vithal, his pillion passenger, sustained critical injuries to their heads and bodies. Both succumbed to their injuries at the accident site. Vinod, the Royal Enfield rider, escaped with minor injuries.

Gachibowli Police personnel arrived promptly following notification of the accident. The bodies were transported for autopsy procedures, and authorities initiated a formal case. The police department is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the crash to establish a comprehensive understanding of how the accident occurred.
