A new artificial intelligence platform tailored for Indian K-12 schools has been unveiled, marking a significant move to address the growing demand for structured AI integration in education.

AI Ready School, Inc., established by Chiranjeevi Maddala of Hyderabad, Srini Vemula based in Dallas, and Pavan Desireddy from Melbourne, has introduced a unified ecosystem combining AI tools with on-campus infrastructure. The initiative includes a complimentary 15-day pilot programme for interested schools.

The platform emerges at a pivotal moment for AI adoption in Indian education. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently unveiled computational thinking and AI-focused curriculum initiatives for the 2026-27 academic session covering Classes 3 to 8. Yet many schools struggle with fragmented approaches and insufficient classroom-level implementation, creating an opportunity for comprehensive solutions.

Development of the platform spanned five years, involving extensive classroom deployments and institutional collaboration across India, the United States, and Australia. Currently operational in over 10 partner institutions, the platform has already engaged more than 2,000 students and educators since 2022.

The ecosystem comprises several interconnected components. Cypher functions as an AI-powered personal learning companion offering guided and individualised instruction. Morpheus assists educators with lesson design, evaluation, and targeted classroom support. ZION provides AI-driven tools for research, creative work, and project-based activities. NEO establishes an experiential innovation laboratory combining artificial intelligence, robotics, and immersive learning technologies for students from Grades 1 through 12. Matrix delivers on-campus AI infrastructure, enabling schools to maintain local AI systems with enhanced data governance, compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

"Many institutions today are experimenting with AI, yet frequently in isolated ways that fail to generate sustained classroom impact," noted Chiranjeevi Maddala, Co-founder and Chief Executive. "Schools require not merely tool access, but an integrated framework connecting learning, instruction, infrastructure, and real-world application within a single structure. Our approach prioritises humans first and technology second. Every component has been created to deepen children's thinking rather than encourage technological dependence."

The company is simultaneously establishing TAAIRS (The Association of AI Ready Schools), a network designed to facilitate knowledge sharing among school administrators, teachers, and educational leaders regarding AI adoption strategies.

NH Goel World School in Raipur has emerged as an early institutional partner, collaborating since 2022. An appreciation letter issued by the school in April 2026 documented measurable gains in research-based learning, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, creative innovation, and presentation capabilities among its student body. The school also noted enhanced educator adoption of AI-integrated classroom methods.

"Our students demonstrate considerably improved research competencies, information evaluation skills, and capacity to address practical challenges through innovative approaches," the school's Principal stated in the April 2026 letter. "The programme successfully nurtures independent thinking and cultivates learning characterised by imaginative engagement and self-assurance."

The company targets 500 school partnerships throughout India by the conclusion of the 2026-27 academic year while simultaneously exploring expansion into international markets. Current international operations include partnerships in Uzbekistan, with the company evaluating opportunities across the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East regions.
