All 36 Passengers Safely Evacuated as Bus Catches Fire in Nalgonda District

A private transport bus burst into flames while en route from Hyderabad to Kakinada, with all 36 passengers managing to escape safely on Saturday in Nalgonda district.
The fire broke out near Peddakaparthi village in Chityala mandal as the bus was traveling along its scheduled route. The vehicle quickly became engulfed in flames, but the driver and cleaner responded with urgency, ensuring every passenger evacuated the bus before the situation deteriorated.
No one sustained injuries in the incident, with all travelers accounted for following the evacuation.
Fire department personnel arrived at the scene promptly after being alerted and worked to contain the blaze. Despite their swift intervention, the fire had already consumed much of the vehicle by the time firefighting operations were underway.
Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical short circuit may have been responsible for igniting the fire. Officials are conducting a detailed examination to establish the precise cause of the incident.
The rapid decision-making by the bus crew and the coordinated efforts of emergency responders proved instrumental in averting what could have been a serious tragedy, safeguarding all those aboard the vehicle.
